Born, raised and educated in the mid-west plains states of Iowa and Indiana.
I earned a college degree in Mortuary Science and Business Administration.
Retired after establishing my own medical equipment business, specializing in operating room and patient need equipment for hospitals and skilled nursing homes. I am married with three children and two grandchildren.
Joined the Bushnell’s Basin Fire Department in 2001 after attending a “neighborhood drill”, and have served in several positions on the Civil or business side of the fire department, including Assistant Treasurer, Secretary, Trustee and Grant Writer.
I began riding in 1998, and graduated from a Honda Shadow 1100, to a Valkyrie 1500, and finally to my current 1800 Gold Wing. Joined the Red Knights NY-22 as a Charter Member in 2004, and have served in several capacities; currently serving on the Board of Directors and Treasurer. Over the years I have been encouraged to look beyond my local chapter in serving the Red Knight organization. I was honored to be asked to serve as the International Chaplain in November 2016, and look forward to serving.
