I was born and raised in North Wildwood, NJ. I live in Cape May Court House, NJ and am a police sergeant for the North Wildwood Police Department and have worked there for over 22 years. I’ve been a volunteer firefighter for over 24 years and retired in 2018 from the Green Creek Fire Company. I have served as the co-chairman and treasurer of my local fire commission.
I joined the Red Knights in 2006 as a charter member of NJ 31. I was the first Quartermaster of my chapter and then Road Captain. In 2010, I was elected President of my chapter. In 2013, I was supposed to be appointed as the Vice President of the NJ State Association. I was to have the honor to work with an incredible man, Barry Stires, who was to be the next President of the Association. Tragically, on September 1, 2013, that all changed, as did many of us, when we lost Barry to a tragic accident. This meant the position of President needed to be filled and I humbly stepped forward, hoping I could do the job Barry and I had planned. With the work of many Red Knights throughout the “Other Country” of New Jersey, we brought life back into the Association, which is now thriving. As required by International Bylaws, I resigned from President of the NJ State Association.
I am gracious to all of the members of Region 1 for giving me the opportunity to serve you. I will do my best to represent you and I am always here to help. I look forward to meeting you all in person. As always, Loyal to our Duty and Red Knights Forever!
